Warehouse Manager
About the Role
A growing food manufacturing facility is seeking a hands‑on Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, safety, and team leadership. This role manages a multi‑area warehouse environment and plays a key part in plant efficiency, food safety, and cross‑department collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, staging, and inventory accuracy
- Lead, train, schedule, and develop warehouse staff; ensure strong accountability and performance
- Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and plant safety programs
- Coordinate work orders, truck inspections, pallet programs, staging areas, and documentation
- Partner with QA, production, maintenance, and dispatch teams to support plant operations
- Monitor sanitation, housekeeping, grounds, and overall warehouse conditions
- Support audits, investigate safety issues, and contribute to root‑cause analysis
- Serve as a key member of the emergency response team
- Be on‑call as needed for operational issues outside normal hours
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of warehouse experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Strong people leadership skills; proven ability to coach, train, and hold teams accountable
- Experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP requirements
- Ability to manage multiple warehouse areas, prioritize tasks, and drive efficiency
- Comfortable participating in safety, HAZMAT, and emergency response activities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
