Global Integrated Business Planning Manager, Hybrid Japan

Responsibilities

Business Integration Process Design & Governance

  • Support the design and evolution of global IBP processes, reviews, governance, and planning frameworks.
  • Identify and implement industry best practices to improve planning effectiveness and maturity.
  • Develop and refine planning templates, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Support the organization's long-term IBP capability development.

Process Implementation & Execution

  • Drive implementation of IBP processes across business units and functions.
  • Coordinate planning reviews and ensure process adherence.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment across demand, supply, finance, and operations teams.
  • Prepare executive review materials and support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support training, workshops, and organizational change activities.

Stakeholder & Business Leadership

  • Build strong partnerships across Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Commercial and Business Unit leadership teams.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to leverage IBP as a strategic business management tool.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and alignment across global teams.
  • Support business integration and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within Supply Chain, Operations, Strategy, Planning, Consulting, or related functions.
  • Proven experience leading or supporting IBP, S&OP, or planning transformation initiatives.
  • Experience operating within complex multinational and matrix organizations.
  • Strong background in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Good communication in both English and Japanese
  • Japan market knowledge and experience working with local stakeholders and suppliers.
