New Product Development Manager
The New Product Development Leader is a strategic engineering leadership role responsible for leading a team of six engineers focused on the development and execution of innovative products for the 100 Series Windows business. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the future product portfolio by driving new product introductions, technology advancements, platform development, and product performance improvements. Working closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, product management, and business leadership, the New Product Development Leader will ensure projects are aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and long-term growth strategies.
This position is ideal for an experienced engineering manager who enjoys leading people, developing talent, and influencing product strategy. The role is approximately 50% strategic and 50% tactical, balancing responsibilities such as resource planning, portfolio prioritization, and long-term roadmap development with project execution, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. Rather than being the primary technical contributor, this leader will focus on coaching engineers, removing roadblocks, guiding technical decision-making, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
