Plant Manager

A leading food and beverage manufacturer is seeking a Plant Manager to lead all aspects of facility operations, including production, safety, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement. This individual will be responsible for driving operational performance, developing teams, and ensuring the plant meets business, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily plant operations across production, maintenance, quality, and warehousing.
  • Drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor salaried and hourly employees.
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics, including efficiency, waste, and labor utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage budgets, capital projects, and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Food Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership of plant-level operations with responsibility for safety, quality, production, and financial performance.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, and food safety requirements.
  • Experience driving employee engagement, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
