Location: Sheboygan, WI
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Manager to join the plant leadership team and drive quality, process improvement, and change across the facility. This role requires a highly influential, hands-on leader who can build relationships across operations, establish strong quality standards, and drive accountability without relying solely on direct authority. The successful candidate will bring strong quality experience, a high level of ownership, and the confidence to challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive quality standards and continuous improvement across the facility
- Influence cross-functional teams and create accountability around quality
- Partner closely with operations and employees on the production floor
- Lead quality and process improvement initiatives
- Identify root causes and drive sustainable corrective actions
- Strengthen quality culture through communication, coaching, and training
- Support customer quality expectations and issue resolution
Qualifications:
- Strong quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Proven experience driving change and process improvements
- Strong communication skills and leadership presence
- Root Cause Analysis and quality management systems experience
- Corrugated or packaging experience is a plus, but not required
- Lean/Six Sigma, SPC, SQF, BRCGS, or HACCP experience is a plus
