Production Manager
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing organization seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead high-performing production teams. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while supporting the company's operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop production supervisors and frontline employees to achieve operational goals.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor production performance, quality, efficiency, and cost metrics to meet customer demands.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, engineering, supply chain, and warehouse teams.
- Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workforce development activities.
- Analyze operational data and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance.
- Maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Support strategic initiatives and contribute to overall plant leadership efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced production setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and operational excellence principles.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to drive results through employee engagement and accountability.
