Sales Engineer (Western Region)

A leading provider of industrial electrical solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer to support its Protective and Monitoring Relay (PMR) product line across the Western U.S. This role involves driving business growth through customer engagement, managing pipelines, and closing deals. You will handle the full sales cycle and collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Inside Sales to meet your targets.

Responsibilities

  • Represent and promote PMR product line to potential and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain business relationships, providing technical solutions for customer projects.
  • Assess customer needs and collaborate with field specialists to deliver comprehensive product solutions.
  • Service existing accounts, secure orders, and establish new accounts within your territory.
  • Focus sales efforts by analyzing account history and adjusting presentations accordingly.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations.
  • Increase sales and market share through daily customer contact, lead follow-up, and proactive outreach.
  • Conduct trainings, seminars, and presentations for customers and channel partners.
    Work closely with internal teams to ensure product availability and resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (MBA is a plus)
  • 5+ years of technical sales or engineering experience, preferably in industrial markets
  • Proven ability to identify new opportunities and build relationships for revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and protection/control products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM tools preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
