Title: Senior Planner
Salary: $100-110K
Location: New York City
Schedule: 5x a week in office in Midtown
Company Profile: A leading manufacturer and importer of branded and private label apparel is looking to add a Senior Planner to their team. This person will be responsible for leading the internal supply chain planning process such as driving the store merchandise assortment strategy, creating financial and unit buy plans that meet or exceed sales & margin expectations, item creation, and sales reporting.
The Senior Planner will Be Responsible For the Following:
- Building business financial plans/budgets through data-driven historical analysis, business intelligence, and consumer trends to determine future sales potential
- Store Modular and Online Merchandise Assortment Strategy
- Item Creation and Maintenance in internal and customer systems
- Forecasting & reporting of sales, inventory, and margin performance
- Leverage data visualization software and possess strong presentation skills to provide actionable business intelligence that can positively impact P&L
- Collaborate with customer to report sales and track budgets and performance
The Senior Planner Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years retail merchandise planning experience
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Wholesale Experience required (sku-intensive)
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong retail math skills (margin, turn, return on investment)
- Highly proficient in Excel and working knowledge PowerBI
- Ability to partner and communicate with cross functional teams
