Business Development Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in international airfreight sales to join their global freight forwarding team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for logistics and a proven track record in developing new business opportunities across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in global freight forwarding, with a focus on international airfreight.
  • Strong understanding of complex Supply Chain in order to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements to prospective clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in international airfreight sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain and airfreight operations.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
