Automation Robotics Engineer
Our client, a leader in the Industrial Automation sector, is seeking an experienced Automation Robotics Engineer to join our client's team in Allentown, United States. This permanent position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex automation and robotics projects, directly supporting customers in life sciences and pharmaceutical equipment environments, with a competitive base salary in the range of $120k-$160k.
About the Role
You will lead automation projects end-to-end, integrating robotics and AGV systems into cage wash and material handling solutions. As a key customer-facing engineer, you will coordinate technical requirements, oversee FAT and SAT activities, manage commissioning on-site, and ensure full documentation. Experience in life sciences is a strong plus.
Key Skills & Experience
- Automation Project Leadership: Driving complex automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Robotics/AGV Integration: Designing and implementing robotic and AGV solutions into existing and new systems for enhanced efficiency.
- Cage Wash & Material Handling Systems: Engineering automated systems for washing and handling materials in industrial and pharmaceutical contexts.
- Customer-Facing Technical Coordination: Acting as the main technical point of contact, translating customer needs into robust engineering solutions.
- FAT/SAT, Commissioning & Documentation: Executing factory and site acceptance tests, commissioning equipment, and producing clear technical documentation.
- Robotics & PLC: Applying advanced robotics and PLC programming skills to develop reliable, high-performance automation systems.
- 7+ Years Engineering Experience: Bringing substantial engineering background to handle complex, multidisciplinary automation challenges.
