A well-established OEM/ODM manufacturer specializing in industrial electronic products is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - OEM & ODM - Dongguan to lead customer programs from concept development through mass production. This is a highly visible role working closely with global customers, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management activities covering RFQ, Proof of Concept, NPI, and post-launch product support.
- Act as the primary customer interface, managing timelines, deliverables, commercial discussions, and stakeholder expectations.
- Prepare quotations, costing analyses, NRE assessments, tooling budgets, and support commercial negotiations with customers.
- Drive project execution to ensure materials, tooling, engineering changes, and production readiness are delivered on schedule.
- Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing, finance, and suppliers to resolve technical, quality, and supply chain challenges.
- Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery, quality, and profitability goals.
- Manage change control processes through ERP systems and established operational procedures.
- Mentor and develop junior project management and engineering team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any of Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of project management experience within OEM/ODM manufacturing environments serving global customers such as North America, Europe and APAC.
- Strong understanding of industrial electronics products and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in NPI, product commercialization, cost estimation, quotation preparation, and engineering change management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer satisfaction and business objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese communication skills.
- Experience within medical devices and industrial equipment is appreciated.
