Title: Supply Chain Finance Director
Salary: $150-175k
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Hybrid (4x in office a week)
Company Profile: A global leader in specialty food space is looking to add a Supply Chain Finance Director to their team. This person will be responsible for connecting financial, commercial, and operational plans, with primary responsibility for revenue forecast and translating that into inventory planning and ordering. This role understands business strategic priorities and is able to connect that with demand forecasting to make financially sound decisions that support profitable growth and working capital management.
The Supply Chain Finance Director Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Play a key role in the IBP process by connecting commercial and operational plans to financial forecasts and inventory requirements and serving as a trusted business partner who translates complex financial and operational information into clear recommendations
- Own the inventory order process, translating demand forecasts, inventory positions, lead times, production requirements, and business priorities into purchase and production recommendations for Procurement and Co-Manufacturing Partners
- Develop inventory forecasts covering projected levels, turns, weeks of supply, cash requirements, and excess or obsolete inventory exposure
- Partner with Finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, with particular ownership of revenue, inventory, cost of goods sold, working capital, and related assumptions
- Lead improvements to planning processes, systems, master data, reporting controls, and technology, including AI, automation, business intelligence, and advanced analytics
The Supply Chain Finance Director Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, inventory management, supply chain planning, or a related discipline
- Experience managing or financially supporting inventory in a consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or similarly inventory-intensive environment
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of inventory management, working capital, cost of goods sold, and the financial impact of supply and demand decisions
