Maintenance Leader (m/f/d);
DSJ Global is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Manager for one of our clients based in the metallurgy sector. They're one of the leading T1 Automotive suppliers for metals and are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager with autonomy to bring ideas, influence and develop the current production site. There is lots of flexibility to manage CAPEX, make decisions on the best strategies for the plant grow and develop further.
Responsibilities:
As the successful applicant, some key responsibilities will include but not limited to;
1) Carrying out routine inspections and preventive measures on equipment/machinery,
2) Developing effective strategies towards minimizing downtime due process failures/defects;
3) Collaborating regularly with other department heads/managers concerning any repair needs they may require assistance/guidance;
4) Providing employee training sessions where appropriate so staff can better identify potential problems before causing significant damage/costly repairs are needed at later stages etc.
5) Price comparisons for services of external companies and spare parts.
6) Ordering spare parts and external companies for repair work.
7) Enforcement and control of assigned tasks.
8) Planning of repairs, conversions, investments and optimizations.
9) Organization of training and further education.
10) Shift planning.
Experience:
- Extensive technical knowledge in mechanics, hydralulics, pneumatics and basic knowledge of electrics and electronics.
- Knowledge on individual work process on machines and systems.
- Leadership experience.
- Knowledge of Maintenance strategies from Preventive, Reactive, Corrective, Predictive.
- Extensive experience working in a production facility/plant.
- Credible in Project Management & Budget Management.
