Job Overview
- Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement using LEAN methodologies.
- Validate and verify product and process quality to meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain compliance with certifications and support internal and external audits.
- Lead and mentor team members to foster a culture of quality and improvement.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
- Hands-on experience with Automotive APQP, LEAN principles, and quality tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and guide teams.
- Familiarity with process improvement tools such as FMEA, Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Control Plans.
- Ability to coordinate with suppliers and conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, including occasional international trips or weekend work as projects require.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven track record in implementing Zero Defects principles and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of maintaining third-party certifications (e.g., UL, CSA, ETL) and supporting inspection processes.
- Competence in managing corrective and preventive action systems and driving closed-loop solutions.
