Role Overview
As Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain function, including procurement, production planning, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management. You will play a key role in shaping the supply chain strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead and manage procurement, planning, logistics, and warehousing teams.
- Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory planning.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality.
- Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain (e.g., ERP systems, automation).
- Manage budgets and negotiate contracts to maximize value.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in supply chain roles, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
