Manufacturing Engineer
An industry‑leading manufacturer of premium kitchen appliances is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Greenwood, Mississippi. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on problem solver who thrives on improving systems, eliminating waste, and driving meaningful impact on production performance.
Position Summary:
This role will play a key part in improving and optimizing the manufacturing system. You'll evaluate current processes, collaborate closely with plant‑floor teams, and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput.
From implementing new equipment to championing lean principles, this position will help shape the future of the production environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years of hands‑on manufacturing experience, particularly in process improvement and waste elimination or a college graduate with related internship experience.
- Strong problem‑solving track record in a production environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD skills preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience using BI tools for data‑driven decision making.
- Background in metal fabrication process improvement (laser/punch, forming, welding/finishing).
- Experience with assembly process improvement: line balancing, work instructions, operator training, FPY improvement.
