The Plant Superintendent is responsible for managing a fabrication facility and ensuring that all operations are productive, efficient, safe, and aligned with both internal and external customer expectations.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Serve as a change agent responsible for leading operational performance in Mayville, WI.
- Maintain the operations team and facility readiness to support a Monday-Friday, 50‑hour manufacturing schedule.
- Directly manage a multi‑department plant with 10+ employees across Fabrication, Rental, and Distribution functions, with room for future growth.
- Provide hands‑on support to employees and facility needs; lead from the front, not behind a desk.
- Collaborate with the production planning team by phone and email, coordinating daily activities and navigating frequent changes in business needs.
- Manage all plant expenses.
- Drive a culture focused on safety and operational efficiency.
- Oversee and monitor safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
- Master the organization's Quality Management System.
- Support and promote high employee engagement.
- Establish optimal scheduling strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Produce and drive operational reports and key performance indicators.
- Improve operational processes, develop team members, and assist in minor recruiting efforts in the local region.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or a closely related field (required)
- At least 5 years of experience leading and managing within a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Training and onboarding will require travel

- Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field
