We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Plastics Injection Engineer to lead the development and optimization of injection molding processes for our premium packaging solutions. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and sustainability in our packaging products, serving global luxury and consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities
Process Development & Optimization
- Design, develop, and optimize injection molding processes for new and existing packaging products.
- Define and implement process parameters to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
- Lead mold trials, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Tooling & Mold Design
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on mold design, fabrication, and maintenance.
- Evaluate and approve mold designs for manufacturability and performance.
Material Expertise
- Select and test plastic resins and additives suitable for premium packaging applications.
- Work closely with suppliers to evaluate new materials and technologies.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all processes meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with R&D, Product Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to bring innovative packaging concepts to life.
- Support sustainability initiatives through material and process innovation.
