Job Title: Supply Chain Business Intelligence & AI Strategy Manager

Location: Irvine, CA

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 base

Summary:

A leading global manufacturer is seeking a forward-thinking Supply Chain Business Intelligence & AI Strategy Manager to lead the integration of advanced analytics, machine learning, and digital strategy into its global supply chain operations. The manager will oversee a team of analysts, data scientists, and engineers, and will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing BI tools and dashboards across manufacturing and supply chain functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML initiatives to optimize supply chain performance and digital strategy.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies in data visualization, machine learning, and modeling.
  • Develop and implement data systems and analytics in collaboration with the automation and digitalization teams.
  • Manage a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
  • Build custom models, algorithms, and interactive dashboards to deliver actionable insights.
  • Support the execution of the enterprise BI strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Design and execute A/B testing frameworks using machine learning techniques.
  • Conduct experiments, test hypotheses, and apply predictive modeling to solve complex business problems.
  • Identify and implement AI/ML applications to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across reporting platforms.
  • Actively contribute to cross-functional projects and digital transformation initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT with strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years in Business Intelligence and Data Science, including machine learning, data engineering, and big data.
  • 3+ years of experience in BI reporting and visualization (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects).
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong background in statistical analysis, experimental design, and process improvement.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business adoption of data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Azure Certification
  • Experience with DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with Grafana and Smart Sheets
