Qualifications

  • Technical degree or training in industrial engineering, vehicle technology, mechanical or production engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering.
  • Alternatively, a degree in business administration with strong technical aptitude and project management capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Work Experience

  • Several years of experience in international or global industrial/technology environments, ideally within sectors such as:

    • Transportation and railway
    • Automotive
    • Commercial vehicles
    • Vehicle construction
    • Aerospace
    • Machine tooling or complex industrial systems
  • Demonstrated background in:

    • Technical sales (OEM and/or aftermarket)
    • Key account management
    • Project acquisition, project management, and cross‑functional coordination
    • Customer relationship development and customer acquisition
    • Product management, product marketing, and portfolio management
    • Business development, market analysis, and benchmarking

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end sales processes-from lead generation to delivery.
  • Skilled in coordinating across engineering, purchasing, production, quality, customer support, training, and external partners within a matrixed environment.
  • Experienced with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts, ERP/CRM systems).
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities, with a structured and strategic mindset.
  • Professional, persuasive communicator capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • High level of initiative, commitment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel.
  • Confident and optimistic approach, with the courage to take calculated risks and drive results.
