Summary
Our client, a rapidly growing retail company, is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Supply Chain to build and lead their supply chain department from the ground up. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for designing and executing a scalable supply chain strategy that supports the company's growth, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
- Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Optimize end-to-end supply chain operations to improve cost efficiency, speed, and reliability.
- Establish KPIs and reporting systems to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, merchandising, and operations to ensure alignment and execution.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Implement technology solutions to streamline supply chain processes and enhance visibility.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proven track record of building and scaling supply chain functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in supply chain systems, analytics, and process optimization.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
