About the Opportunity
Join a global leader in advanced specialty chemicals and electronic materials supporting the semiconductor manufacturing industry. This role provides leadership for facility operations, capital projects, maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure at a highly automated chemical manufacturing site.
What You'll Do
- Lead maintenance, facilities, utilities, and engineering activities for a chemical manufacturing facility.
- Oversee critical systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ultra-pure water (UPW) systems.
- Manage capital projects from planning through execution, ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule.
- Direct engineers, technicians, maintenance personnel, and contractors.
- Drive facility reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements, including PSM and RMP programs.
- Manage maintenance budgets, capital spending, and long-term facility strategies.
- Support new product introductions and business growth initiatives.
- Participate in management review and change control processes.
- Track and report departmental metrics and project performance.
What You'll Bring
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of chemical manufacturing plant experience.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience.
- 5+ years of capital project management experience.
- Experience leading maintenance and facilities operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working within highly regulated process manufacturing operations.
- SAP experience preferred.
