I'm currently looking for a CPO for an industrial company that has revenue of โฌ9,5 billion and 50,000 employees globally. In this opportunity you will be responsible for a global transformation and play the key part in the restructuring the entire procurement department.
Responsibilities:
- Development of organisational procurement strategy
- Creation and improvement of best-practice based processes (e.g., leadership of high value/strategic sourcing efforts)
- Leadership of cross-functional teams across other business functions and initiatives
- Building an Operational Excellence department to help transform procurement whilst supporting broader transformation within the value chain
- Responsible for the spend of โฌ3,8 billion and manage 5 VP's Globally
- Report directly to the CEO and board members
Skills Experience Required
- Relevant degree, mechanical engineering or MBA is preferred
- 10 - 20 years of experience preferably from the industrial or automotive background
- Strong leadership experience in managing a senior team globally
- Excellent track portfolio in purchasing and negotiations with suppliers globally
- Fluent in English
