Responsibilities include:
- Managing development/execution of the Continuous Improvement Program
- Training and developing others on Lean & Six Sigma methodology
- Managing development of the Cellular Manufacturing process
- Promoting and driving a lean culture throughout the plant
- Implementing a Continuous Improvement methodology through best practices and new strategies
- Integrating additional tools/methodologies with Continuous Improvement to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
- Leading Continuous Improvement events/exercises
- Planning, executing and reviewing audit events
- Performing other duties as required
Ideal qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Manufacturing processes experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop training and train employees
- Project management
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, follow through and build relationships
- Computer proficiency in MS windows and office applications (specifically Excel & PowerPoint)
