DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Consumer Goods Manufacturer whose products you can find in every major retailer! This organization is looking to expand its growing team with a Director, Design Engineering. This candidate will support the research & development team honing in on creativity and handling new product development/implementation.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Work Closely with R&D team to implement new product development designs from conception to launch
- Assist in the day to day processes and drive continuous improvement
- Cross Collaborate and utilize resources and expertise within the company
- Makes design changes to existing products, ensuring compatibility through appropriate testing
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities through use of lean initiatives
- Responsibility for content of all technical documentation
- Responsible for definition of design inputs, prototyping, feasibility testing protocols and the concept selection process
The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Experience in CAD software
