The Director of Business Improvements for Indirect Procurement will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business improvement initiatives for the Indirect Procurement team. This is a newly created role that will involve managing a team of project managers, and working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, cost savings and efficiency gains.
Indirect procurement sourcing experience, consultancy experience is a plus, experience in transformation projects is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of business improvement initiatives for the Indirect Procurement team
- Manage and lead a team of project managers to execute improvement initiatives
- Identify areas for process improvement, cost savings and efficiency gains through data analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business goals
- Support the implementation of best practices, tools and systems to drive improvements in the Indirect Procurement function
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Report progress and results of improvement initiatives to senior leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, supply chain management)
- Indirect procurement sourcing experience
- Consultancy experience is a plus
- Experience in transformation projects is a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Strong understanding of best practices and tools for driving improvements in the procurement function.
