DSJ Global is looking for an experienced Head of Customs to lead our customs operations and compliance efforts at our logistics company based in Krefeld, Germany. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of customs operations including clearance processes.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained according to local regulations.
- Develop strategies that optimise efficiency while ensuring regulatory requirements are met or exceeded
- Continuously monitor changes made by relevant authorities regarding import/export laws/regulations
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum Qualification - Bachelor's degree (preferably related field)
Experience - 5+ years' management level experience preferably within similar organisations
Skills - Customs declarations, customs EU knowledge
1) Strong Knowledge about German & European Union Import/Export Regulations
2) Excellent communication skills
3) Ability To Speak Fluent English And Local Language(s).
