This role will report to the Head of Direct Purchasing and you will be responsible for the entire operational and strategic procurement activities. Responsibilities
- Lead Category Manager team for Engines and Mechanics
- Orchestrate a global network of suppliers
- Oversee and evolve the Procurement Strategy
- Lead big scale supplier sourcing deployment projects with end to end responsibility
- Devising long-term development strategies for product categories
- Supplier Monitoring & Contract Management
Skills and experience
- Proven track record of negotiation
- Experience in the procurement of aircraft engines or motor engine parts
- Previous management experience is preferable
- Excellent analysis and evaluation skills
- Recruit, support, train & mentor staff, leading an organisation of commodity buyers
- Procurement commodity leadership position
