DSJ Global is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Process Engineer to join our client's team based in Hamburg, Germany. Our client are a leading company of drying processes within the F&B sector. They produce natural ingredients, ingredient systems and integrated solutions for different types of food & beverage innovations. As a process engineer, you will be responsible for developing drying processes that meet the specific needs of clients for a wide array of different applications across over 160 countries. This exciting opportunity offers room for growth alongside collaboration with R&D teams to turn ideas into high-quality physical products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative solutions tailored to individual client requirements
- Analyse processes and process gaps. Make proposals on how to improve processes and fix problems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D departments and projects team
- Reduce production deviations under standard production processes.
- Conduct P&ID drawings
- Create detailed project plans from concept through completion
- Design experiments using statistical methods such as DOE (Design Of Experiments) or Six Sigma.
Qualifications:
- Education: process engineering, food technology, or comparable field
- Ideally F&B or FMCG background
- Strong knowledge of Drying Processes used within industrial settings,
- Technical experience: drying technology, hygiene design, cleaning equipment, etc
- Experience handling complex processes
- Soft skills: structured, organised, pragmatic, solution oriented, etc
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for food processing
