Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Manager
Company Summary: This pharmaceutical and bio-technology company is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Manager to join their team. This global company has over 50,000 employees and has plans for great growth as they kick off 2022. This company is a major provider to the life sciences industry, specifically within Medical Device, Biotechnology, and Chemicals. This role would be for an Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Manager who would play a key role in leading their site to success through designing and implementing new processes.
The Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Kick-starting and leading Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, with the goal of improving performance across various site measures
- Working with site-leaders to design, develop, and carry out both short-term and multi-year CI plans
- Leading workshops and mentoring/coaching at all levels to support a continuous improvement mindset across the site
- Ability to effectively carryout VSM, Kaizen events, Gemba walks, RCA's, and CAPA's
The Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Manager will have the following qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in either operations, engineering or a project leadership role, along with a bachelor's degree
- Preferred to have 3 or more years of experience with manufacturing and supply chain
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt OR Master Black Belt combined with a fair amount of management skill would be preferred
- Proven history of implementing processes, tools or approaches that have improved operational performance (examples include 5S, visual management, value stream mapping, etc.)
