One of the world's most famous cosmetic companies is looking for a Procurement Manager to join its growing team! This company has received recognition from their overall global success and is looking to increase headcount by 35% by the end of 2019. The CEO has recently made a number of acquisitions which has helped their rapid expansion and they are now looking for leaders to help drive the business growth.
The Procurement Manager will plan, organize, direct, and control the purchasing functions of all finished goods products under the sauce and produce functions. In this role, you will work closely with domestic and international food vendors and brand teams to ensure client satisfaction. You will act as the key liaison and subject matter expert by engaging, aligning, and working closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
Procurement Manager have the following responsibilities:
The selected individual will join the Sourcing team by bring in new developments and regulations to ensure best industry practices to the organization
- Negotiate optimal terms for sourcing by understanding the tradeoffs between cost, volume, and quality in order to strike agreements that meet company standards
- Work with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to conduct product reviews
- Audit vendor manufacturing facilities
- Serve as company's representative for any regulatory inspections
- Participate in the determination of staffing needs and recruiting
- Mitigate risks to the business and assurance of continuous supply.
- 0-10% travel required
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience
- Basic knowledge of procurement and sourcing functions under Consumer Goods
