A leading pharmaceutical company specialising in skin care treatments is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager for CDMO to oversee its Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of high-quality materials and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the CMO category to ensure optimal cost and quality performance.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement value-add initiatives and cost savings opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement and sourcing to inform strategy development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, with a focus on CMO operations in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience in developing and executing category sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in German and English.
