Responsibilities:
- Direct accountability of all supply chain operations i.e. Demand Planning & Management, Warehousing, Customer Service, Customer Collaboration, Outbound Transportation (from Country Distribution Centres to Customers) and Supply Chain execution of initiatives including sustainability, NPIs, Slow moving and obsolete goods management and mitigating risks
- Responsible for product availability at the country level: accurate demand forecasting followed by operational expediting/de-expediting to balance service and inventory at the country level
- Act as an agent of change while serving as a business partner to the management team
- Shape and strengthen Supply Chain processes by identifying internal and external best practice to develop strategic plans to meet needs of the cluster
- Drive excellence in all the areas of customer service and collaboration through continuous improvements
- Develop lean supply chain initiatives to ensure we maintain pace with our customer demand while protecting working capital
- Implementation of alternative strategies to reduce cost and improve performance
- Provide an integrated voice of entire Supply Chain to work as one team and synchronise the commercial strategy into the end-to-end supply chain strategy
- Steer end-to-end Supply Chain strategy development and execution, to ensure an integrated, collaborative team
- Drive "last mile" execution of new product introductions, life cycle management initiatives, margin enhancement and cost improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- 10+ years progressive supply chain experience
- 5+ Years experience in Planning as well as Distribution (Warehousing and Transportation)
- Past experience in the FMCG/Consumer Goods industry
- Experience in leading and driving projects with continuous process improvement tools
- Ability to influence at all levels both within Supply Chain, with Commercial, Finance and other key cross functional partners, in a matrix environment and externally
- Incorporates and integrates understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain to anticipate cross-functional impacts, interdependencies and trade-offs
- Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationships, leading cross functional / virtual teams
- Strong communication skills
