Job Title: Sourcing Manager R&D
Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany
A leading Pharmaceutical company specialising in skin care treatments is seeking a Sourcing Manager R&D to oversee its sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing activities for the company's Research & Development department.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the R&D department, in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to identify new suppliers and optimise existing supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage risks associated with supplier contracts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain management.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or cosmetics industry is preferred.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement software systems.
