We are searching for a new Supply Chain Leader for this client. The role will take ownership for the end-to-end SC function of this site, and collaborate closely with the wider organisation across Europe. The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience leading transformation/change management projects.
Position Responsibilities:
- End-to-End leadership for the Site Supply Chain
- Manage all employees across the Planning, Purchasing, Logistics Operations and Customer Service Functions (approximately 15+ direct reports)
- Ensure highly efficient inventory management, production scheduling and operation processes to meet customer requirements
- Creation and implementation of new Metrics/KPI Dashboard to increase production efficiency
- Develop robustness/agility in the Supply Chain to combat material shortages and unforeseen production constraints
- Responsibility for the growth of the Supply Chain team - Lead the development & mentoring of employees + Identification of external hiring needs
- Oversee Purchasing Process & Supplier Performance Management to ensure quality and efficiency of inbound materials
- Champion continuous improvement and lean methodologies across the Supply Chain
Experience Required:
- Several years Supply Chain experience in a global organization
- Proven track-record in a leadership role, with multiple direct reports
- Strong communication ability; capable of managing several stakeholder within a matrix environment
- Very good analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
- Fluency in German and English
